New York Veteran Walking Across America for Struggling Veterans

Tom Zurhellen to Visit Madison VFW Post 7591 at 7PM on July 16, 2019

Madison, WI, July 13, 2019 – Tom Zurhellen, the Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 170 in Poughkeepsie, NY is walking across America to raise awareness about veteran suicide and veteran homelessness. Commander Zurhellen’s journey began in Portland, OR on April 15th and will end in Poughkeepsie, NY on August 23rd. By the time Commander Zurhellen finishes, he will have walked 2,860 miles.

Commander Zurhellen will be visiting Madison, WI VFW Post 7591 at 301 Cottage Grove Rd., Madison, WI at 7PM on Tuesday, July 16th. The public is welcome to join the members of Post 7591 to help support Commander Zurhellen and his goal of ZERO veteran suicides and veteran homelessness.
